Dear husband, Thank you for loving me still!
Honey, I just want to express my gratitude for everything that you have done and you are doing for our family.
I know we don’t get the chance to tell each other the cheesy lines anymore since the girls came to our lives.
We have been too focused on many things.
I have been too focused on their needs and well-being that I don’t get to compliment you a lot.
I don’t always tell you how much I love you each day.
I don’t always get the chance to cook dishes for you.
I don’t always serve you first.
Yes. I acknowledge not being a perfect wife to you.
Yet, you love me still.
Let this letter be a reminder to both of us that despite everything, my admiration and love for you remain the same.
No, not even the same.
With all the things you have done for us, my love for you is even more.
I will never be the mom that I am today, if not because of you.
So, thank you!
Thank you for always being there when I needed you the most.
Thank you for always being understanding and supportive.
Thank you for always being patient with me.
Thank you for cooking and serving me meals when I get home from work. I know I seldom do that for you but you understand and not complain.
Thank you for offering help in looking after the baby and Z so I could get some rest, or go take a walk outside or go finish my work.
Thank you for taking Z out when I’m having my mood episodes.
Thank you for helping me put my shoes on.
Thank you for helping me fold the clothes and vacuum the floor.
Thank you for the foot massages and for tucking me to bed especially when I’m not feeling well.
Thank you for watching me sleep.
For those random little things that you do each day when you are home with us.
For us, your girls, you are the hero!
So, thank you.
Thank you for trying your best to be a good husband to me and a great father to our girls!
We may have petty fights and misunderstanding at times, but we are both learning.
We are both growing in our marriage.
I am maybe complicated to handle sometimes, yet you choose to understand.
You choose to accept my flaws.
You choose to love my imperfections.
I see you, honey and I appreciate everything.
There may be a lot more to thank you for.
But for now, let me say, THANK YOU FOR LOVING ME STILL!
Cheers to more years and forever!
